Olivia wanted to play a game before bed a few nights ago. She suggested Go-Fish, which I'm a little burned out on, so I suggested Memory. Instead of playing either game, Liv had the idea to make her own Memory game with the alphabet. I cut the squares out and she wrote all the letters twice (except V, W, X, Y & Z - she got a little tired at the end). The funny thing is that I didn't even know that she knew how to write all her letters (except her name). She drew them all from memory, I only had to show her B, G & R... Then we used them to play Go-Fish and she won, as usual...
I was so proud of her and amazed that she had already retained all those letter shapes and was able to put them on paper - it was so cool!
