Jonah's 2nd Birthday

Jonah turned 2 on October 30th (Thursday) and we had his Thomas the Train party on Saturday afternoon. He had so much fun getting ready for the party and playing with all his guests! We played a few train games the kids just all had fun playing together. He especially liked hearing everyone sing "Happy Birthday" to him and blowing out the candle. We had to relight it later that night about 10 times... :)

He got a lot of fun Thomas stuff and some other cars and trucks. He and Olivia had a ton of fun racing around the remote control car that the Stewards gave him. We had to get another so they could both have one instead of fighting each other for the control!

I bought an entire Thomas wooden railway collection from someone who had outgrown it - a ton of track pieces, engines, buildings, etc. for a great price. That has been keeping us all entertained. Jonah woke up this morning and said, "Mine build track." (I'm still working on getting him to say "I" instead of "mine"). The first couple times we played with it he was just interested in destroying the track, but now that he gets what it is for, he is very careful around it... :)

To top of the Thomas frenzy, we picked up Jonah's new big boy toddler bed on Sunday - I found this used also for a great price and I know I'll be able to sell it for at least that when he outgrows it. The first night he didn't sleep in the bed all night, but last night he did it. He still woke up a couple of times, but was able to get back to sleep in his Thomas bed. You can see how much he loves it!!
